The final year of the century ushers in twelve months of change. On the personal level there is a perceptual modification in your personality to a more flexible, caring person. With maturity you are mellowing like a fine wine. Physically you find yourself slowing down and not quite up to some of the more rigorous activities you once handled with ease. Wisely you accept these changes without grudge and make the necessary adjustments to your lifestyle. This could also be the year for retirement if you haven't already made that decision. If you have retired this may be the time for a move to a quieter rural community. On the social level your circle of friends becomes smaller, but more meaningful. Your partner and you, by now, have attained a state of equilibrium with very few squabbles as you have a subtle understanding of your distinct roles and obligations. These changes are positive, but like all changes cause some stress. Toward the end of the year you will feel some of the tension lifting giving you a sense of personal freedom and relief.
